Somatic Experiencing Practice is a treatment modality specific to the healing and resolution of trauma. This therapeutic modality works with symptoms of stress, shock, and trauma. In addition to working with symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and other stress disorders, Somatic Experiencing also offers healing with early developmental attachment trauma, medical invasive procedures, birth trauma, war, natural disasters and other events that lend to sensations of overwhelm.
Trauma robs us of the capacity to be our authentic selves. It can impact our cognitive ability, affect our psychological and physical well being as well as impede our experience of emotion. As we engage in this modality you will experience being able to be more present, clarity in your thinking, a wider range of emotions, increased energy and capacity for life as well as discovering who you are meant to be.
